Look out for the new" Karate Kid"!!!
Yes karate kid is back in a whole new fashion, in the remake by Will Smith, starring his son Jaden Smith. The story did take on some new challenges and changes to the script and characters. Of course many people in the movie world have been asking, "who will play the mentor role of Mr.Miyagi?" Well its now official that Jackie Chan will be playing the role! The child role once known as "Daniel" will now be set in stone as "Dre" ; as Jaden takes on the role. As far as the script, Smith reported, " it would definitely have its own feel, but it will still have a strong chinese oriented adaptation to it." There was speculation that the title would be changed to the," Kong Fu Kid" since the changes were so drastic, but Smith insisted to stay with Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita’s title.
