R.I.P. Dolla

R.I.P. Dolla. This post coming from straight off my phone. Reading about dude getting shot. Dolla, an artist from Atlanta signed to Akon's Konvict Music label (with affiliations in the Los Angeles Hip-Hop Scene) was shot in the head outside of The Beverly Center. Allegedly there was an altercation and witnesses initially reported that it was a female shooter. Later on it was changed to a male suspect. The suspect was later identified in L.A.X. Terminal 1, attempting to board a plane. When the officers approached the man he stood up and said he knew why they were there, and then told the officers he has a 9 millimeter pistol in his waistband. He was identified as a 20 year old African-American male by the name of Aubrey Berry. Dolla allegedly had an altercation a few months earlier at the BET Awards Pre-Party with artist 2 Pistols. People said that Dolla said he turned down the T-Pain Produced song "Got it", which was later made with 2 Pistols.

2 Pistols allegedly said Dolla "would be dead".

If there is a connection then what roles does Aubrey Berry play in it?Either way another young rapper slain on stupid shit. My Homie Skeme did a song with him. That's some fucked up shit.

Screenwriter Chris Morgan Offers ‘Gears Of War’ Update: ‘It’s Looking Incredibly Good’

Screenwriter Chris Morgan is definitely working hard on updating and getting the video game on a big screen. He stated,“A draft went in and we’re talking about it now and we’re budgeting it out.It’s looking incredibly good.” This is by far one of the biggest projects of the year along with the release of Transformers, which will definitely be turning people to the air conditioned seats and sticky popcorn filled grounds of the movie theater. Iron man will also be coming through and making some money, but as far as expectaions, there isnt any way a movie can top the expectations of the gamer culture for this massive project. Look out for the new" Karate Kid"!!!
Yes karate kid is back in a whole new fashion, in the remake by Will Smith, starring his son Jaden Smith. The story did take on some new challenges and changes to the script and characters. Of course many people in the movie world have been asking, "who will play the mentor role of Mr.Miyagi?" Well its now official that Jackie Chan will be playing the role! The child role once known as "Daniel" will now be set in stone as "Dre" ; as Jaden takes on the role. As far as the script, Smith reported, " it would definitely have its own feel, but it will still have a strong chinese oriented adaptation to it." There was speculation that the title would be changed to the," Kong Fu Kid" since the changes were so drastic, but Smith insisted to stay with Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita’s title. Be on the look out for this new movie and hopefully the Smith's wont let us down>>>>>B.S.T.

Oscar De La Hoya Has Retired

A sad day for many, a great day for others(The Haters..). Oscar De La Hoya has officially announced his retirement from the sport of Boxing. He finishes with a 39-6 Record. in my opinion he should very well go down as one of the greatest to have ever played the game. He conquered many weight classes, won 10 titles, and beat 17 world champions. Not many people in the game have done what he's done for the sport. Not only has he attracted many new fans to the game, but his promotion company Golden Boy has strived to be the top promotional company in the Boxing World. I rate him in my top 10.

Never thought i Would officially say this..

But i officially dont know if Tupac is dead. For so long, i told myself he was long gone. But i seen this video, and idk what to say. For one thing, you cant clearly see his Makaveli tattoo on his neck. True enough, but now we have tattoo removal operations. Keep that in mind. I have studied Pac, particularly his last performance at the House of Blues, and this dude (if its not him) has Pac's movements, dancing, smile, looks- down to the T. If this vid is real, the only sad part about it is that he's dancing to 50. Wouldnt that be a twist for the ages. There have been new posts now since 2003 passed already that Pac will come back in 2014. Why?? Because he was so inspired by the Italian Prince Machiavelli, that he wanted to return at the same age that Machiavelli returned after faking his death, instead of 7 years like he orginally "planned". I don't know forsure guys. But give your opinion on it then.

The cameraman frequently keeps showing the club logo "Club 662". Which is a nightclub owned by Deathrow and Suge Knight at the time of Pac's supposed murder.Which is located in Las Vegas by the way. My only questioning is - if this is Pac in 2008, then the club name would have been changed to "Club 7", as its called now. Another 7 in the 2pac legacy!

Much like A.G I too am a very big Laker fan, and I just got some really good news. Our center Andrew Bynum is set to return tomorrow, April 9th against the Denver Nuggets. I honestly could not think of a better opponent the Lakers could possibly play in Bynum's return. Denver is the #2 seed in the west right behind the Lakers and could possibly be the team we meet in the western confrence final. However I do not think they have a big man that can truly hold his own in the middle which is why I believe this will be a huge confidence booster for Bynum and the rest of the Lakers. There is a game coming up on our schedule that I am worried about. Now some of you will laugh when I say which team I truly fear in the NBA. The Memphis Grizzlies. NO not a title contender, not a favorite to win their division, not even a playoff team for that matter, however they are dangerous..LITERALLY! Andrew Bynum ended his season against the Grizzlies last year and this injury he's coming back from tomorrow occured against who? Yep, you guessed it the GRIZZLIES. Now Im not a very superstitious guy however I do feel that randomness can only occur so many times..at this point this injury bug is a pattern. What's next? ANOTHER injury to our big man? an injury to another starter? Or maybe a valuable member of the bench mob? Heck maybe Phil will take an accidental elbow to the face and end his season..Im worried..This game will take place on sunday April 12th. Be sure to watch the game and pray that no injuries occur..Oh by the way here's a video of Andrew Bynum working out pre-game 5 days ago. He's a beast, no questions asked. Check it out.

Re-Cap Of ' The Terrace '

So for those who didnt go, you missed out on some quality music out at The Terrace. Of course DC did their things, but there were many other acts that came out and did their thing as well. The day started off well. The Group got to the venue early, walked around a bit, saw some normal Pasadena stuff. lol. We found out that in Pasadena, they have this place called Famimi's, which is like 7-11 meets a 5 Star Hotel. Shit was ridiculoso. & Was it us, or is Pasadena the most CALMEST PLACE EVER?? LOS ANGELES – For the better part of the evening, Kobe Bryant had bided his time, surveying the Houston Rockets’ defense for cracks, holstering his own shot as the confidence within his teammates grew. Finally, the moment called for him.
Shane Battier buried a 3-pointer to press the Rockets closer to the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant took the ball on the left wing, measured the distance between him and Battier, and let fly with his 25-foot answer. Twenty-eight seconds later, Bryant skirted off a pick and quickly fired another 3-pointer over the head of Battier.
This time, Bryant paused to watch the shot slide through the net, holding his right hand aloft as he admired his work. The Rockets’ shoulders slumped, but Bryant’s daggers pierced far deeper than the opposing bench. Some two hours earlier, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers had jetted out of Orlando on the heels of a 29-point loss that James called “embarrassing.” By the time the Cavs touched down in Cleveland, they knew this much:
Kobe isn’t ready to concede the MVP race – or home-court advantage – to LeBron just yet.
The Lakers’ 93-81 win over the Rockets, their 60th victory of the season, pushed them within a game of the Cavaliers with six left to play. Only three days earlier, the Cavs seemed to have all but locked up home court through the NBA Finals after the Lakers followed a loss in Atlanta with another in Charlotte. But that was before the Washington Wizards delivered one of the season’s biggest upsets by beating Cleveland. The Cavs were further humbled by the Magic, trailing by as many as 41 points.

Home court is up for grabs. The MVP award might be as well.
Though the public race has been too close to call for much of the season – a Yahoo! Sports’ fan poll taken two weeks ago drew more than 240,000 votes with Kobe and LeBron each netting 38 percent of the results – there was growing sentiment among the official media voters that James had done enough to keep Bryant from a repeat win. Few expected the Cavs to be this good, and if they finished with a better record than the Lakers then how could Bryant be the more worthy candidate?
If nothing else, Bryant’s performance against the Rockets should now make voters hold onto their ballots until the final day of the regular season. The Lakers also beat the Cavs in both of their meetings, a talking point that figures to occupy the top line of Bryant’s résumé should the teams finish the season with the same record.
“I think you wait until the end of the year and whoever has the better record, you give it to,” Battier said. “The arguments are so parallel.
“I think [Dwyane] Wade is having a phenomenal year, but Kobe and LeBron are in a class by themselves. There’s not one argument that’s better than the other. They’re both deserving. Just give it to whoever wins home-court advantage.”
The MVP battle and the chase for the NBA’s best record are the only two races worth watching over the season’s final 1½ weeks. For all the talk about the fierce battle for seeding in the West, the gap in talent between Nos. 2 through 9 in the conference is far closer than the gulf between 1 and 2.
If the West is going to produce a serious challenger to the Lakers, it will have to wait until the playoffs because one hasn’t emerged yet. The Rockets have persevered in a season of ridiculous challenges, but they don’t have a single win over the Lakers. The San Antonio Spurs, who needed 126 points to beat the Indiana Pacers on Friday, hope only to get healthy. The Dallas Mavericks just lost to Memphis. The Utah Jazz lost at home to Minnesota. Golden State beat New Orleans. Portland and Denver have played well of late, but the Trail Blazers likely lack the experience to make that deep of a run into the postseason. Nuggets coach George Karl recently dismissed on a national talk show any notion that his own team is a legit championship contender.
“We’re just trying to get out of the first round,” Karl said.
The Lakers could always run into a surprise or two during the playoffs; the Boston Celtics were pressed into two seven-game series before reaching the Finals last season. So far, however, Kobe and his teammates have chopped down any and all West “contenders” to come their way.
Bryant has been particularly tough on the Rockets. He beat them with a 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds left in January then produced some more fourth-quarter heroics in Houston last month after Ron Artest taunted him.
Asked Friday what he did to rile up Bryant in their previous meeting, Artest smiled.
“I called him the worst player in the world,” he said. “I told him he was the worst player I’ve ever seen in my life.
“ … Some people won’t talk to the guy who actually might kill them. I like to talk to the guy who likes to kill me.”
Artest didn’t say much to Bryant on Friday, but he also only guarded him for a few possessions. That assignment went to Battier, who unwittingly provided his own source of motivation for the Lakers. Last month, the New York Times Magazine ran a story by “Moneyball” author Michael Lewis detailing how Rockets GM Daryl Morey has innovatively used statistics when making player assessments.
“The Lakers’ offense should obviously be better with Kobe in,” Morey said in the story. “But if Shane is on him, it isn’t.”
Lakers coach Phil Jackson made sure Bryant read the story. “I told him about his penchant for taking on guys that contest him,” Jackson said, “and, at times, making it mano y mano and taking us out of our game.”
Bryant’s reaction to the story?
“I enjoyed it.”
The result was one of Bryant’s better floor games of the season. He toned down his aggressiveness to set up his teammates, scoring 20 points on just 11 shots.
“He was efficient,” Battier said. “That’s a killer.”
And when Bryant sensed the momentum turning, he rose up, hitting one 3-pointer then another, the second coming off a pick-and-roll that Battier called “the toughest shot in the game.”
Bryant has built his career on such shots, and that’s why Battier suggests voters wait until the season’s final day to make their MVP selections. With six games remaining, with the playoffs beckoning, who wants to bet against Kobe?



Now my take on it

Honestly LeBron is just a freak of Nature. Kobe is the Greatest. & it seems that it will be that way for at least another 4 to 5 years.

So We've been underground for a bit, if you havent heard from us in a while its simply because, nothing has happened in a while. However were about to hit the scene, and hard. (no homo). this summer expect a lot. And I mean a lot. From shows to new singles, and eventually our first album. It is something thats been in the works for a while, and with the amount of songs we already have itll be one of the greatest albums you have ever heard, we will pick our best songs to date and give them a slot on the album. Then when it comes to shows we will do it bigger than this hemisphere. Different venues and we will feature different bands as our opening acts. The LA area is packed with up and coming bands looking to get their names heard, and we can help them with that. As they bring in their fans we bring ours and create a great atmosphere for quality nights of music.
